#5917 I think diversity is only a good thing if it shows that a community is accepting of a person regardless of their appearance or personality. It becomes a bad thing when you are discriminating against against people just so you can appear to be diverse. Yes, there aren't many blacks and Hispanics at Purdue, but that's no reason to pick them over someone else of the majority.
