#6237 I see so many comments about "Asians" these days. As an international student, I admit the fact that we are sometimes very annoying by speaking different languages that you guys don't understand.
HOWEVER, why don't you stfu and show some respect? By hanging out with our own kind, speaking different languages and having different cultures don't mean that we don't respect you. We are not illegal immigrants! We have rights to act whatever we want as long as we respect cultures here and don't break the law.

AND we pay more tuition than most of you to be here lol.

#6236 I'm a freshman girl at Purdue. At the beginning of the semester I found a great group of friends. We did everything together. I became close with one of the guys in our group, and we started dating. We were on and off for a little while, but I ultimately decided it was best for us to just be friends. One weekend my roommate was out of town, and that boy and I decided to drink in the dorm together. I got really drunk. We started hooking up. While I will say that the situation is probably confusing for a lot of guys, the sex was not consensual. JUST BECAUSE A GIRL IS DRUNK DOES NOT MEAN SHE WANTS TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU. As soon as I realized what was happening I pushed him off of me and started hitting him. He told me he wasn't done yet. I started crying and he wouldn't leave me room so I called my friend while sobbing. When he finally left I drunkenly called my mom and my roommate. Of course everyone told me to go to the police, but I was alone and drunk and scared. The next day I sat down with my friend group and told them what happened. At first they were supportive, until my ex talked to them. Of course everyone's going to have their side to the story. Long story short, I was accused of making the whole thing up and was quickly viewed as a liar. I obviously didn't want to be friends with people like that, so I dropped them instantly. The worst part is that I see them around campus sometimes, and every time I see them they turn around and laugh at me. Sometimes I even get mean snapchats and group messages. I try not to let it get to me, but at the end of the day it does. I've been the victim all along. I don't see how any person deserves it.

#6235 One of the biggest problems I have is that I'm terrible at making friends. Throughout middle and high school, I've had the same group of friends, so I've never had to meet somebody new. Being the only one in my group of friends to go here, I've had the worst time trying to make friends. It really doesn't help that I was usually the lone wolf in my group of friends and I want to change that.

#6231 my bfs poor communication skills suck. they lack so much that i feel like he could honestly gives 2 shits about me. i often think about breaking up with him……like a lot. but i know i would heartbroken without him & maybe even to the point where i feel like i wouldnt be able to be at purdue anymore. (i know how crazy it sounds, but when i fall…i fall hard) ive mentioned it befre to him and he says he sorry and will try to make it better but so far there hasnt been any improvement. some friends tell me to break up with him so he finally opens his damnn eyes but that makes me more afraid…..what if he doesnt fight to have me back? :'/
