#6317 I feel it's hard for me to become close friends with someone. Maybe I'm too serious, I like to talk and think about productive things most of the time. I like to watch biographies of great leaders, like to play sports, I like to learn different things online, and I spend A LOT of time studying... these are a few of the many things I want to do. If I am not doing anything productive with my time, I start having negative thoughts about myself and the time I'm spending.

I feel weak when I say this, but I need to find someone who believes in the same things as I do. It's hard feeling the odd one out in whichever friends group I've tried to fit in. Since I'm so serious, I just talk about the basic things when I meet people (name, where they come from, how was it living there.. blah blah).. I'm not funny or an entertainer, although I can become that when I loosen up with people. It just takes me SOOO MUCH time for me to loosen up to people. It's so stressful.

#6315 I weighed 135 pounds at the beginning of the semester. By the end of the semester, I gained 13 of my 15 freshman 15. Now, within a week, I am back down to 142 pounds. I miss the dining courts dearly.

#6314 I'm a townie; my parents live in town; my dad is a professor at Purdue; my GPA and SAT scores were high enough for me to attend more selective schools if my parents were willing to pay. They are rich, and can, but didn't contribute a single penny towards my education. I came to Purdue on nearly full-ride except costs for food. Applying to grad schools and my parents won't even help me pay fees. Using the last of my savings to do that, been surviving off the vending machine for several weeks. I know my parents have no obligation to help me out, but I wish they could invest just a little more care into their daughter's future. Oh well, guess I should be grateful I barely made it. Almost there.

#6312 Matt Boris, I wish I could tell you I like you. But being friends with your ex, girl code says I can't. Anonymity will have to do.
