#7317 I was so happy to be accepted to Purdue. It's a top 10 engineering program. So we should get better jobs, higher salaries. Worth all the extra expenses even for us out-of-state students. Right? No. I just checked the average starting salary for graduates with a BA in mechanical engineering. It's 63,000 for the nation as a whole. For Purdue ME grads it's 59,000. What the hell! Why am I here?! I just checked the salary for my local university where I could pay in-state tuition and live at home, and it's even higher than the national average. Fuck me!!!

#7314 PSA to pedestrians: When the roads are not dry and cleared, please do not cross the road at places that are not crosswalks when there are cars around. Most Indiana drivers are not equipped with tires that can handle bad weather conditions so even if we try to stop, we may skid and hit you anyway. That isn't in the best interests of driver nor pedestrian, so please look before crossing the road and make sure the car is far enough that it has plenty of time to stop before getting to you. #7311 My roommate and I have a collection of trays from the dining courts. We decorate them and record the day that we took them on the back in sharpie. Then, we hang them up in our room as decoration. Our goal is to have at least one tray from each court by the end of the semester.
