#8007 The Purdue Chronicles #2

Alright people. This article idea actually came from another confessions post I read a couple of days ago. You people might recognize her as "Annoying White Girl". Now I'm not condoning her views in any way nor do I agree with her posts because she is a bit racist against asians. But she makes a great point when she said she has never seen a white girl date an asian guy before. I have to agree...I have not seen one at Purdue either. I'm not saying they don't exist so don't be posting "my friend's boyfriend is asian". I'm just saying they are so rare, that most people who attend Purdue don't see them. Race is just a color it does not define who you are. I see white couples in dining courts all the time. And they look bored out of their mind. Most of the time, they are silently eating their meal or the guy and the girl are both texting on their phone. COME ON MAN!!! On your phone? Really?The guy/girl you "supposedly like or love" are sitting next to or across from you and you're texting or playing games on your phone? But when I see let's say an asian couple or a group of asians or maybe a white guy and asian guy are friends they are always having an engaging conversation with each other. So are you girls dating this white guy because you truly love him? If so, then go ahead. But if you're dating him because its "normal" to date a white guy. Because its "socially acceptable" to date a white guy. Because he has "swag" or is only good looking? You've got dating all wrong. I mean is your "husband" going to put on his job application, Qualifications: I have swag, girls tell me I'm cute. Girls need to give guys outside of your race a chance. White guy dating white girl? BORING! Its been done before you are not special, you are like the 99.9% of the white girls. Don't be that 99.9% of white girls who date only white guys. Be that .1% of the white girls that date someone outside of their race. Do you know why people stare at interracial couples? Its not because they're "weird" or "disgusting" its because they're INTERESTING. They're doing something DIFFERENT. I'm not just saying asians either. White girls should give any race a chance if they approach you either you're black, asian, indian, hispanic give them a chance. Hear what they have to say. Judge them based on personality and not color of their skin. I guarantee you will find minority races to be more interesting and have more personality than any white guy you have dated in the past. And asian guys need to take the initiative and expand their social circle. Don't just hang out with asians. Go take the initiative and talk to white girls. That is all I have to say for today.
