#8643 As an upperclassmen I'm embarrassed to be struggling so much to go to class. I have to work a full time job on top of school because my family can barely afford sending me to college. I am smart. I have the compacity to sit in class and do the work to achieve high marks... It's just really fucking tried of barely being able to shower and eat regular meals that aren't ordered from hungryboiler. It's drained me a lot and I don't know what to do. Idk why I feel the need to confess this here, but I wish there was something for students like me. The students who grew up with middle class parents, who got good grades on highschool while working, and then are having to work their way through college. I wish so badly I could quit my job and just be a student! Oh god! That would be just fucking awesome. I know I'm not the only one who silently suffers in their shitty off campus apartment. I can't be the only one who has never been to the cactus or has never joined a club on campus. Many people have suggested looking at campus for a job. Most are work-study... And I can't even apply for them. Nice. If your reading this and in the same boat, I raise my red bull and down my antidepressants to the struggle we face.
