#8931 My confession is that I have random intrusive thoughts all the time. They are often about violent, sexual, strange, disgusting, prejudice, or racist things about people and things. To combat these thoughts, I imagine me stabbing my brain, inhaling a gaseous form of an acid, lighting myself on fire, severing my hand, or I imagine that these thoughts are from a part of my mind that is an evil person and that my sanity, the good person, whips the evil person or chokes them with a whip. Or I also imagine that it is Satan trying to influence my mind, so I do the same thing as if it was an evil person in my mind. I feel as though I am insane. I researched why I may be having these intrusive thoughts and apparently anxiety/stress can be linked to them. I suppose that I just need to find a way to cope with anxiety and stress then.

#8929 I have to confess that I'm not truly happy here. I feel like this institution is holding me back. I've been told "no" a million times, whether its with greek life or leadership organizations. I am always swamped with school work, so it has been extremely difficult to do things that are enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, I have made a lot of friends here and have had some good times, but I don't really think that I am living up to my full potential. I've considered dropping out, but I don't know what else I would do.
