#9494 I met this amazing guy a month ago. We had a whirl wind romance and fell hard for each other in a week before he moved away for a new job. Instead of just parting ways and staying friends, we decided to give the whole long distance thing a shot. It was a little hard at first but bearable given we have already made plans to visit each other. Part of his job is traveling to Seattle for a week at a time. He went on his first trip this past week and it got extended to 2 weeks. But even then, we've hardly spoken since he left on this trip. This is a shock considering we would text each other constantly and skype every night until we fell asleep. I try texting him to let him know I'm thinking about him or hope he's doing ok, but I get no reply. Am I just paranoid, or is there some merit in me thinking this "relationship" is over? I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's working hard, long hours in a different time zone. But, if you like someone enough, wouldn't you send at least a text whenever you could? I just feel like there's no interest left. I'm not a really needy person, but I feel like you shouldn't be ignoring someone you're dating for 4+ days unless you're in the hospital.
