#9571 So I just got married and me and my husband had sex for the first time ever. It was a great time of love and passion and awkwardness until that night when we were gonna go to bed. He was acting weird and didn't want to cuddle. I asked him what was wrong and he says "you weren't a virgin". What? I was taken aback and didn't know what to say to that. I was a virgin. I saved myself for marriage. He said because I didn't bleed and that it didn't hurt me that I wasn't a virgin. I tried to explain to him that I accidentally broke my own hymen in 9th grade trying to wear a tampon and that I did feel some pain initially but it disappeared after the 3rd time he entered me. I know he read a lot of material on how to take my virginity without causing pain but I'm trying to get him to understand that every lady is different. I don't want to think "he'll get over it"... it may not seem like a big deal to some of you but to us, we believe that people should save themselves for marriage and for him to even think that I didn't hurts my feelings.
