#10013 I would really like a girlfriend but can't get myself to approach any girls. I believe it is because of my self limiting beliefs. The media and hollywood movies portray asian men in a negative image and they are often depicted as being effeminate, shy, nerdy, unathletic, and socially awkward. I was also bullied constantly by every other race (whites, mexicans, and african americans) throughout middle and high school about being asian and this caused me to think about myself in a negative way. I have always been scared of expressing my personality for fear of being judged and have a very low self esteem. I always feel like people don't want to talk to me and girls will find me unattractive which has caused me to live a lonely life and never developed any social skills. How do I overcome my self limiting beliefs about my race and start talking to girls?
