#29663 I think one of the biggest reasons I don't go home for the holidays is because my family is one of those, "IT'S MERRY CHRISTMAS ASSHOLE" kinds of families, like it's got to be done there way only, and I always feel more alone even though my birthday is close to it, like for some weird reason they celebrate everybody else's birthday to the tee, people fly in from other states, spend a lot off money, and mine is usually forgotten, pushed in with christmas, or pushed in with one of my cousins, where its his day, so I just say fuck it.

#29670 Every time an international student makes a statement about their observation, most of the comments are “Why are you here ?” “Go back” etc, even though the intl student never said he or she hates being here just made some general comments. Anyways I will tell you I am an international student and I love it here and I have no problem paying $50K/ year, which eventually subsides or funds your in state tuition here in exchange of a prestigious degree and a potential career which is not available to me in my home country, as you know not all countries in the world are industrialized and offers you a career in engineer, science and technology. I might be called Purdue’s cash cow, but I see this benefiting all parties as the Purdue Degree gave me a job which does not even exist in my country because it is not developed enough.
