#29665 I'm OP of
#29658. I didn't explain very well, yes I'm a delivery driver, and while I carry some change on me I don't carry by any means an assortment to cover the variety of cash orders I deliver. Also, delivery drivers as a rule don't vary change on them. I don't have a register in my car.
The problem was that when they handed me their payment, I did not have the coinage to give them their exact change back so they demanded more than what their change was to cover the coins I didn't have. So they were supposed to get 7 dollars and like 13 cents in change and instead took 8 dollars.
In retrospect, it's whatever. I'm a pushover when it comes to customers, especially agressive ones because I'm a smaller female (not to be sexist, I'm just a whimp lol).
I understand some of you are calling me out as the wrong party in this scenario, and you are entitled to your opinion but I stand by what I said. It was very rude of them, and I shouldn't have to pay for their order for their mistake.
Anyway, thanks to everyone that stood up for me in the comments. Customers have been stressing me out and I'm trying to make ends meet, continue my education and cannot be with my family because of finances this Christmas. I can't expect everyone to know what it's like, but thanks for showing some common decency and being empathetic towards my situation.
And again, massive shout out to the international students that tip, you guys don't get enough credit.
