#10772 I am a girl, and I work out every other day. I try to eat healthy as much as I can. But I am not as skinny as my friends who do not ever go to the gym and eat whatever they want. I feel like I am wasting a lot of time by going to the gym while other people can keep their skinny body doing something productive with that free time. If I have one lazy day and eat some shitty food, I can immediately notice changes in my body. I wish I was born with a high metabolism.

#10771 So I had a tumor in my brain and had to take it out through surgery last month. The surgery is dangerous and the doctor made it clear that I might die from it. During the 3 hours surgery, while my parents are anxiously waiting outside the operation room, my boyfriend of 2 years was at school taking a class and doing his project. He came to the hospital at the end of the day (my surgery was in the morning) and tell me he is glad to see me being ok. I asked him why he is gone and his response is him being anxious wouldn't help anything, and the project is getting close to the deadline. He asked my mum to call him if anything happened to me, and that's the way he cares about me. Now my parents really don't like him and I'm rethink of him too, considering both of my parents left work for the day to stay with me. I just wonder if this is a cultural thing (I'm not American)? or he is just not care about me?
