Our relationship has been less than perfect; he has cheated once before (that I know of) and I forgave him because I believe in second chances. He has been proving that I can trust him again especially since there will some distance between us. Before this relationship, I was in love with my best friend of 5 years and I never really told him how I felt, but I decided to cut ties with him so I could continue my relationship with the current boyfriend and not have any confused feelings. I haven't talked to the ex BFF for 10 months, but I can't stop dreaming about him romantically and it always messes me up emotionally afterwards. I rarely think of him consciously and I can't help but think that maybe I'm still in love with my best friend and I'm the one who is emotionally cheating.
