#11538 I don't understand when people have to say that you shouldn't be sad about your life because someone else always has it worse. That shouldn't be something that cheers you up. It always makes me feel like it's demeaning my problems and points out the fact that the future could be even worse. I always like to think of the possibility of everything getting better, instead of pointing out it's not as bad as it could be, but that's just me.

#11545 As a Purdue student, I think the students here are quite naive and ignorant. They always think Purdue is like the best university in the US and always like to call out IU sucks. Yet IU has prominent medical school, law school and business school where graduates make a lot more money than engineering or computer science students who mostly work for people when they graduate. Not to mention another much better university like Notre Dame and Northwestern where many graduates end up in Chicago and Wall Street. Purdue students should wake up and grow up now. We all know that a Purdue degree can't bring you far and that most people end up making an average median income of $120k. And I think that's even too high.

#11537 I'm a freshman at Purdue, and you're still a senior in high school. I know you've liked this page, since I showed it to you once, so I know you're going to see this at some point.
Truth is, over the past few months, as we've grown to be very, very close friends, even more than last year, I've fallen for you. Hard. More than I ever thought I would; which isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. The reason this is a confession, is because I told myself that I wouldn't. Why? Because the last time it happened, our friendship was nearly destroyed. Sure, it probably shouldn't have happened back then, but we were naive.
There is nothing more I could want than to tell all of this to you in person, but unfortunately, I can't do that just yet. The only thing I can do is wait for the right time. I'm just hoping that time comes sooner than later...
If there's one way to summarize this: it's that I'm not giving up, and I never will

#11536 To the Dick in Harrison, yeah it's an hour break from deng hours, that does NOT mean you have to have your base so loud it rattles the entire dorm. I hope you fail all your finals. Fuck that, I hope your fucking speaker blows up and kills you. It's not cool to blare your base while everyone's trying to study, I hope you know nobody likes you.

#11535 "I just want to give up on everything. I just want everything to stop. I am so over this." -Statuses like this annoy the hell out of me. If there is something wrong, say it. Stop it with these generic statuses just to get attention.

#11534 I posted to this page awhile ago and it never showed up. That's fine, it is a rather controversial topic. Do you believe that women have a right to smoke or drink during pregnancy? I am not asking if you think they should, I'm asking if you think they ought to be able to make that decision themselves. If you think the answer is no, the South is the place for you! Tennessee just made it a jail-able offense, with anti-abortion legislation hot on its heels. TN is looking like a terrible place to be female.
