#11998 I don't understand how people's argument to allow illegal immigrants to stay in the US is "we are all descendants of illegal immigrants." First, that's not exactly true. Native Americans didn't believe that anyone could "own" land, so there isn't exactly "legal/non legal." The US also purchased a large amount of land in various deals. Even if this land was "stolen," how does that affect me? I was born here. So were my parents. Their parents. No one in our family can recall when our family here began. For all intents and purposes, I am a "Native American," not in an ethnic sense but rather that my culture and heritage is entirely that of the US. This is not meant to be hate speech, immigration needs to be reformed to benefit all. Our economy cannot survive without immigrants. But I am a "native" American and damn it, I'm proud!

#11993 It's amazing how I fooled people for so many years into thinking that I am smart. Truth is I am only good at school, grades, and have a couple other really cool talents. Aside from that I am a dumb ass that covered it up all through high school because my parents helped me with the rest.
