#12241 I overheard someone saying that my face is annoying. I haven't ever seen or talked to him before.

#12244 It feels like most guys are getting laid at minimum once or twice per month. While I'm the guy that walks around campus by himself and eating at the dining courts alone with no one to talk to. I did not envision my life to be like this a couple years ago I'm such a pathetic loser.

#12243 Walked past a large frat house on my way to class and a group of frat guys sitting on the bench yelled "Lay Off The Damn Curry". And to make matters worse, a group of sorority looking girls walking behind me laughed and smiled at the frat guys. What has society come to when girls are attracted to a bunch of racist douchebags. I already suffer from chronic depression and extremely low self esteem. I didn't want to give the frat guys the benefit so I ran to the nearest building restroom and literally cried for a couple minutes.

#12266 Do women in general get tired of frat guys and their parties in school sometime? Or am I destined to wait until my mid to late twenties for their opinion to change.

#12265 You know, am I really the only one that misses it, when Pappy's used to play nothing but good old-school songs from the 80's and 90's, on the jukebox? They especially got rid of one of the best songs ever made, on the list: "What Is Love," by Haddaway. That really pissed me off. Whenever I go out to eat, somewhere, I don't know about you, but I like to hear some decent music, while I enjoy my food. That is my suggestion to them. Play the old-school, like the good ol' times. Also, I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate the newer music, in general. The beats are almost always (if not always) rip-offs of older songs, and the lyrics have neither meaning nor value to them. I don't like it. I know that it's a college campus, and fine, if you like that kind of music, but there has to be at least a few people that agree that older music is so much better than newer music. We're not kids in middle school or high school. Forget about the new music, and bring back the nostalgic effect that Pappy's can bring, to fit with the 1950's atmosphere of the restaurant. That's all I gotta say about it.

#12264 Does anyone else ever actually think about the vast number of people here? I know we're not the largest campus, but there are literally tens of thousands of people here that walk these streets and fill these classrooms. Tens of thousands of people with their own lives, their own struggles, their own concepts of the world around them. For me it's such a weird concept to think that each individual on this campus is so similar yet so vastly different from myself. I see posts talking about how someone's girl/boyfriend left them or that they're lonely here all the time and I just wonder how long it takes for them to realize the sheer number of people that go here. Say hi to people on your way to class, smile, wave, do whatever. You will meet a new person every single day. Who cares who's judging? If someone smiles at me I'll smile back. I'll wave back. I'll say hi. We're all here together, right? It's hard to not be so self conscious, but it gets better over time, speaking from experience. Don't worry about what other people think, be yourself, and you'll have far more fun here than you would constantly stressing.

#12263 Bikers, either ride in the grass or walk your bikes in between the bell tower and ENAD. The construction barriers leave too many people in too small a space for you to be riding through there. Especially the closer you get to the memorial mall. I know you have a bike lane there, but you'll have to deal with pedestrians on it since pedestrians have to deal with construction traffic in the walk ways.
