#12277 One of these days, a girl will figure out that she can in fact approach me and not have hellfire rain down, despite my resting facial expression saying otherwise. At least I hope so...

#12300 Just a little lesson to all you people of purdue: cars yield to bikes yield to pedestrians. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, even in bike lanes or streets. Yes, they can get a ticket for j-walking, but hitting someone with a bike or car will still be your fault. This is indiana law, so get used to it

#12299 To all of you whose sincere confessions have been attacked by hateful messages: I feel your pain and I feel really sorry for you.
You’re very brave for having ventured this far; believe me. Confessing is not easy because it pressures you to resolve the problem that you’ve pointed out.
I just want you to know that there is someone out there to help you. It might be a counselor in CAPS, your RA, your advisor, or even a quiet acquaintance of yours who silently struggles with the same problem.
The brave thing to do now, then, is to reach out to these people. It’s hard because you may find it difficult to trust others. It’s hard because you might not want to appear weak in front of others. But please, please do take this step and seek help. There are many individuals on this campus who are ready to listen, empathize with you, and love you for who you are. Seeking help may turn out to be one of the best decisions you make in your life.
I wish you the best.

#12309 I'm a successful college student, no I didn't have help, I worked my butt off for what I have. House and a car. But I can't seem to find a gf, I'm a senior at purdue and I have a full time job. It seems like people won't take the chance to know me because I look just like a lot of the international student, not blaming anyone, just a rant
