#12505 I want to tell everyone what happened with me last night. I was walking next to mcarthur drive and two guys passed by me and asked what time was it. I was scared and didnt answer their question so they directly hit me in the face and knocked me out. Then when i woke up they didnt only steal my wallet but tried to put a hot dog in my jeans.
#WTF

#12492 I get the impression that Purdue is fairly conservative for a big school. Kids seem like they genuinely want to do well here instead of just getting fucked up ALL the time.

#12499 I don't mind being single but I would love for a guy to be interested in me. No one has ever asked me for my number and even the guys who smile, only seem to do it to be friendly. I'm not complaining, it's better than nothing. But it'd just be nice if a genuine guy was interested in me.

#12498 Just brainstorming, so critique but please don't tear my head off. But how about this for a change in immigration policy. We get rid of citizenship as a birth right. Think about it, right now there are millions of undocumented workers in the US. They go to work, they pick our food, cook our meals, clean up our messes. And then they go home and take care of their families and maintain their homes. Yet these people are considered second class when compared to Jim-Bob who lives in a trashy trailer park and spends his welfare money on his alcohol addiction instead of his 5 kids that he can't take care of, all because of his bith-right. Some of the greatest minds to benefit this country were not born in this country, so why should that be a determining factor for their citizenship?
Here's my solution. Get rid of citizenship as a birth-right. Upon their 18th birthday each person is required to have accomplished some task, education, volunteer, etc. When they prove that they can be a functioning member of society then they earn the RIGHT to become a citizen of this great country. Citizenship is not a birth-right, it's a privilege. With citizenship each person will be granted the privileges that go with being a citizen; owning property, running businesses, going to college, working the high end jobs, stuff like that, stuff that is already the case now. Those that fail to meet this goal will not be granted citizenship. They would still be able to get jobs but it would be the support roles. Every year those that are in the non-citizenship category will be given the opportunity to gain their citizenship. Those that break the law, serious ones at least, that harm the fabric of society, will lose their citizenship. Any law abiding person from another country who wishes to come here to gain citizenship would be granted a one year visa. In that time they must meet the qualifications, to show that they would be a benefit this country by upholding its values and being a benefit to society. If they do then they are granted citizenship. If they don't then they are deported. Still needs some work cuz I just thought of it while in the shower, but have at it. Tell me what you think.
