#12926 Does anybody know if there are any bars or other places in West Lafayette that would broadcast the Real Madrid - Barcelona Classico game live on Saturday? I mean seriously, does anyone in Purdue actually care to watch soccer games in EPL and La Liga on the weekends? And he/she might be down to meet up to watch some important games every now and then?

#12924 I always want to comment on threads involving racism and gender equality and ask people why they're so adamant about denying its presence? We may live in one of Earth's most equal and just times (at least in some places), but why is it ever enough just to be more equal than before instead of completely equal? What, women and minorities have more rights and that's enough for now? What the hell is wrong with you people? I want so badly to say that we need to stop identifying as "I'm a woman and we suffer, or I'm Hispanic/Asian/Black/White and we suffer." Instead say "I'm a human, and we suffer." When you use the labels that have been put on you, you only perpetuate the stigmas. We are all human. Our unequal systems are to the shame of us all. I'm a guy, but I'm and LBGT ally, a feminist, and a believer in equality for everyone. One last thing, domestic abuse and rape can happen to everyone. Saying that because men are stronger they don't often suffer these things is wholly ignorant and sexist. All forms of pain are available to all humans, stop the bigotry.
