#13210 I didn't vote in this election. Mostly because I forgot but partly because I don't vote for people. If we actually lived in a democracy, where the people have the power and the representatives actually made decisions based on what the people wanted, then I would vote. But instead we live in a republic where representatives have the power and make decisions how they see fit. And representatives only vote according to their constituency i.e. their party, and that's only to keep them happy so they can stay in office. I am entirely against parties and therefore do not have a representative to vote for. So when I do vote it's only for the amendments and bills and such, where my vote actually matters. Because on anything else I might as well just flip a coin.
