I have this tutor/mentor from a long time ago that lost his wife to cancer just after 2 years of marriage. He was so in love with her. He posts all of these photos and videos of her from when she was still alive. I feel so sad with and for him.

How do I reach out to him without being superficial, if you know what I mean?

Nobody ever asks me to hang out and my friends always make plans without me. When I ask to join them they seldom say yes.
