#13358 Got some words for the person who posted
#13098, and to all of those who have been shooting down one another's majors in the past few weeks.
We are not an engineering and science based school. We are an Accounting Acting Actuarial Science Advertising Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs Sales and Marketing Selling and Sales Management Social Studies Education Sociology Soil and Water Sciences Sound for the Performing Arts Spanish Special Education Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Statistics Strategy and Organizational Management Studio Arts and Technology Supply Chain, Information and Analytics Sustainable Biomaterials Earth/Space Science Education Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Sciences Economics Electrical Engineering Elementary Education Exploratory Studies Veterinary Technician or Technologist Visual Arts Design Education Zoology and yes. Aviation Technology school.
Those are just to name a few. We come from different backgrounds and interests and the synthesis of those majors into one workforce is what propels us forward as a melting pot society. In short, I need your major, and you need my major. So let's stop with the "Mine's better than yours" nonsense. Not everyone wants to be an engineer, or a fashion designer, or a pilot. But someone else does, and we need them too.
- A Pilot, who likes his (insert list of majors) majors. Boiler freaking up.
