#30001 I am a grad student at Purdue. Never had girlfriends before. Never went to parties when I was undergrad. I don't really regret anything. Admitted into one of the best programs in the country, I have met a lot of interesting colleagues now. I don't really care how a woman looks, but I want common topics in politics, world history, scientific breakthroughs and stuff like these. Most girls I met before are just too shallow and to be honest, are not worth dating anyway.

#30002 I just find it ridiculous that a national defense mechanism is really actually triggered by a button. I mean WHAT! A fricken button! Not some numbers/letters plus shift/ctrl/enter code. Its like yea Jim if the shit hits the fan just push that red button which warns the public and if things really get out of hand just push the green button to fire off some rockets. That's it. Sounds easy enough right, good. Oh and Fridays are Jeans days. Just something staff does to keep things fun around here.

#29981 I feel like growing up with money has made me want even more money in the future. Not just so I can live a comfortable life and have the freedom to spend on what I want, but also because I want to give a lot to people in need. Not just a sack of clothes or some shoes but like actual money to help build futures for little kids.

#29983 I am never getting married. The last thing I want is too wake up in the morning and have her next to me. That's one thing, but then having her say something like, "so what are you going to do today." Ah god, gives me the willies just thinking about it.

#29985 How many of you think that future of education is online? Think about it, we are paying so much money just to complete some coursework. How much of it do you remember in ten years? If I am not afraid of going against the tide, then I am pretty sure I can learn all the skills that I need from internet and do some hands on training on the side. I think that education as an industry needs a complete overhaul. It should not be this expensive.

#29986 It look 3 years in college, lots of therapy visits and medication, lots of learning to self-love and a lot of rough days, but I finally feel like my best self. I'm on top of things, I'm happy, I'm graduating early, and even though the person I love is thousands of miles away, I'm looking forward to the future and I'm able to finally feel positive about each day. I still have some rough days and the bad thoughts never really go away for good, but I'm proud of my journey and who I've become. I may not have a lot of friends, but I have myself.
If you're struggling like I was or need someone to talk to, please leave a comment and I'll message you. I want to help people make it through the long journey.
