#14498 There's this guy I talked to in one of the dining courts last school year. I thought he was a freshman at the time, but after looking him up online, I found that he actually is a PhD student. He seems really smart based on the things relating to his research that he has on his webpage. I haven't seen him since, and his webpage says he graduates in 2015, and that kind of makes me sad. And I realize writing all of this makes me seem like a stalker.

#14496 I'm doing so bad in my engineering class my professor sucks at explaining stuff in lecture and expects that we already know the concepts. I dont understand the hw assignments and office hours dont help because the professor just shouts at you gor not understanding and doesnt try to help any of the students. Everybody complains about this professor and I dont know where else to go to learn the concepts.

#14495 As a student with a temporary disability permit (due to an ankle/foot surgery over Christmas)I would like to say to the people who park in the S, 500, and A/handicap spots without permits that it is ridiculous for you to do such a thing. I don't park there because I'm lazy, I park there, because I struggle walking more than a few minutes at a time. I am one of the lucky ones that this is only a temporary thing, so don't think about me, think about the people with permanent/life long disabilities who would love to be able to walk across campus but physically can't.

Moral of the story, if you don't have the permits don't park there. There are people who need it much more than you do. If both of your legs work, be thankful that you are able to walk and walk to class or ride the bus. There is a reason that there are spots reserved by permit, and it is not for the quick errand or the 'its too cold to walk' person, think about who you are impacting when you park.

While I appreciate you teaching me and trying to make sure I get all of the information you have prepared for that day, I have a class right after you and it's not that close. So I have to pack up a few minutes (like one or two) before class is over. I try to do it as quietly as I can. But I also cannot stay in your class after it's supposed to be over, because I have to rush to my next class. I know you want to teach me, but please remember, I, possibly along with other students, have classes right after yours is done.

#14493 I hear people say accents are sexy, and I hear people with accents say it's not true. I think the problem lies not in the accent, but in the location. Take those accents to the rural Deep South and it'd be even worse. I would say that if you went to more urban locations there you would find more success. My question is if American accents are attracctive in metropolitan areas overseas.
