Someone told my ex boyfriend that the person who cared the least had the most power in the relationship. In a year, I developed severe mental problems, lost 50 pounds because I was too upset to eat, and hurt myself physically as well. I kept thinking it was my fault. I must have done something wrong. The truth is I did nothing wrong, and that I was dating a jerk. Please, if it ever crosses your mind that you may be in an abusive relationship of any kind, TALK TO SOMEONE. Talk to multiple people. If something doesn't feel right, don't brush it off. I thought that nothing like that would ever happen to me because I knew what an abusive relationship looked like. It turns out I didn't. Be careful everyone. That's all I have to say.
