#15157 I think I may be prejudiced toward old women. Like my old roommate would sleep through an alarm clock, and ask me to wake her up, why? Why should I be up at 6 to wake your grown ass up? You're 50, you never went to college to get a job that would allow you to retire by now, so I pop a Viagra n walk into her room with only boxer shorts on, to wake her up, she wakes up, n screams n then I trek her it's morning wood, but you want me to wage you up so badly... so the next day she calls her friend to come over, who wakes me up to let her in to wake my roommate up... I'm like fuck I have class in 3 hours I just got home n now you're being a bitch? Why what's the God damned point? I started to wonder if I just hated old women then.
That brings me to my shift supervisor, here's some back story first. January 31st, a new company took over, hired on only 5 of the 15 original crew, everybody else was hired on as new people, for the overnight shift there's 3 people, 2 that get 40hrs, and one that gets 32hrs, I get 32hrs which means I work their days off... which sucks because she's the only new person and got the shift supervisor position, which is 40hrs n a dollar more an hr to keep the shift from killing each other, since we're in a small space. Long story shortened, she doesn't keep anybody calm, well at least not me, she acutely does the opposite, like she asked me, "what are we looking for with vehicle checks?" I say were looking for anything that's not permitted on site, and any explosives on the under carriage of a vehicle." She said, "How do you know what to look for?" "There's usually a blinking light, a switch, putty with wires, or something that looks out of place." She actually told me "you're still not getting it, how do you know what to look for?" At this point I'm looking at her like how the fuck was a fucktard hired on, but I just said, "what do you mean?" "This couldn't hasn't taught us what to look for, so idk why we still do it." At this point I just lost it and said "really" I JUST told you what to look for, when they teach us you'll see more, but here I'll bring up the protocol from the old company on the computer." "No, I was just trying to say that we haven't been taught yet." "Ok..." but yet she doesn't beat around the bush with anyone else... which brings me to the point that really sucks, I said ok, and switched shifts with her before so she could go see soccer games, these included me being up all night n then having class the next day, in return, I need one night switched so I can go present an engineering project, n that's too much hassle for her...
I also had an old lady as a teacher a while ago who taught IT classes, and knew just enough to get by, n that's it, and she was horrible too. All she ever did was sit up in front, read off a power point, and give a test, and try to make sense of it... I say try because her examples were some of the stupidest I've ever seen or heard of... and she failed a kid for using Apple technology in a server class, Apple makes a server, there was nothing saying it was a Microsoft only server class... that should be grounds for a lawsuit, but nope she's protected... now we have this complete fucktard who doesn't help or work with anybody on anything... (This isn't Purdue btw) anyway, if you read this I'm just wondering if I'm blowing something out of proportion, or if I'm actually living in hell...

#15049 How much do girls really care about how good of a dancer a guy is or even if he likes dancing? Would it be a deal breaker if a guy just can't dance despite everything else good about him? Even if he's romantic and good in bed otherwise? Even if I could dance, I don't see myself ever really enjoying it... When I dance it's only in my chair while doing something else. Maybe formal couples dancing would work, but free-style just doesn't do it for me. I'm hoping to meet a girl some day that either feels the same way, or is patient enough to teach me the ways of dancing without seeing it as unattractive.

#15050 Okay, so a lot of people disagree with
#14790. Basic gist of it was the writer doesn't care what sexual orientation you are, but don't expect to get special treatment just because you've had it rough. And people are going to hate before they finish reading, but please, wait one second. Anybody can be an asshole. Anyone can hurt others. Your sexual orientation or how hard you've had it does not change that. I had a "special treatment" case where my roommate was transgender and would use that to excuse his actions. If he called me names it was, "Try living my life, I've had it worse." If he started roughhousing and hurt me, he'd say, "Just because my body is female doesn't mean I'm not a guy. Guys do that." When I asked him to please not make out with his girlfriend while I was studying in the same room, it was, "You're just homophobic." He would threaten me just to feel tougher, bully me daily but there was always some excuse about how he had it rougher. There is no excuse. I'm so sorry that someone hurt you, but that does not make it acceptable for you to hurt me. I will not give you the "special treatment" of ignoring your hurtful actions because of your sexual orientation. I know not all people are like this, but I want everyone to understand that when I say I'm not going to let someone keep getting away with hurting me, I'm not being homophobic. I'm being a normal person. So if "special treatment" is letting someone hurt someone else, hell no I'm not going to give it to them. Not a chance.
