#14816 I am curious if people actually enjoy the ADD that is Game of Thrones. It feels like a show made for people who don't want to think, but want to feel like are watching some superior TV show(the kinds of people who like Christopher Nolan movies are the people who I imagine to like Game of Thrones). The majority of the characters are lame archetypes, and the few good ones get almost no screen time. To make this worse, the scripts are absolutely terrible and feel like they were built on cliches(they've had some good moments). I feel like the only thing going for this show are the actors and the visuals; too bad those parts mean nothing if the rest of the show is incredibly hollow. Season 1 was decent, but then it all went downhill from there. I know it is good compared to a lot of TV shows, but goddamn, being better than everything else doesn't make something the masterpiece that it is heralded as.

I'm somewhat introverted. Until a while back I had a lot of difficulty making friends and talking to people even though I'm good at that now. Subsequently, I haven't been the "cuppa' tea" of the women I've been interested in. Inversely, the women who've been interested in me haven't been my "cuppa'". That's just how it's been so far. Sure I've been bummed about that, but at the end of the day I'm in charge of who comes into my life in what capacity and when. Those women have the same prerogative. Relationship prospects aren't my entire life, and if I end up never having one, so be it. I'd rather not have one than be miserable in an awkward one for the sake of satisfying my friends and family. I would love to have a happy relationship, but I think I would love it more if my friends and family would stop bugging me about the fact that I don't have one right now.
