#15408 Friends help. I'm having a debate with myself about fat people. I personally believe humans were never designed to be fat. And then come these people who come around and say I'm fat and sexy. Because they preach being comfortable in their own bodies. On one hand it works because fat people can feel less depressed about themselves. On the other I feel if every fat person feels comfortable in their own bodies they turn weaker. They stop working at being better(not all but generally). What is the point in living if you don't try to be better(admitted there are some who try but have natural genetic differences that I can't blame, but the rest)? Now the question that arises from this is: What is better? Why is it better to be well built(not skinny) than fat? Well I say it is natural in humans to pick the alpha male or female who is typically the most well built. And that invariably describes them as sexy. At this point I ask myself how do fat people get sexy? How does someone fat, by choice of laziness get to call himself sexy, while others work hard to be well built and hence be sexy? Is it fair for the sake of feeling good about themselves? Or is it an excuse to be lazy?

Side note: I am aware that some people regardless of their physique are considered sexy, because of the way they carry themselves, talk or behave. I'm not talking about that. I'm simply comparing looks and sexiness, and their relativity.

Also, I have nothing against fat people. I don't believe in judging people by their looks, I treat them as every other person. Every man is good and equal. But the debate is not to incriminate them but simply: the reason for the right to be sexy. If everyone well built or not is sexy, then doesn't the word there lose it's meaning?

At this point I feel like I might have pissed off people I just want them to know that I simply want to hear arguments as to why I may be wrong or right. People fat 'by choice'. Why do they consider themselves sexy? Or if they don't, why do they not work towards it? If they do, and nothing happens then you are not fat by choice. If you are fat and want to claim sexy looks privileges why?

I'm just trying to understand people here. I'd appreciate help insight towards minds of other people. I want to understand my own indifference.
