#30138 Call me lame but the initiation rituals and hazing that’s in store just doesn’t seem worth the “brotherhood” of a fraternity. I came to Purdue for grad school where frats seemed more exclusive among themselves, but where I went for undergrad, I just had several friends from different frats, especially Sig Chi, and honestly I still felt like I got the social benefits of the frat without the ridiculous hazing. To each their own I guess.

#30115 A lot of us are healthy and can deal with small things like the cold or flu, but please remember that some of your fellow Boilermakers have weak immune systems, and getting sick (especially with this flu going around) could genuinely put their lives in danger. Please try to make an effort to cover your coughs and sneezes, regularly wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, stay home if you really feel unwell, take your medicine to reduce your contagiousness, and try to do your work in isolated areas to prevent the spreading of germs whenever possible.

Confession: I've been really weak due to my health issues, and yesterday some person next to me in the library must've sneezed at least ten times without covering their nose. I moved away, but I really hope they weren't contagious...
