#15147 So often I overhear people talk about degrees in terms of financial worth and I think that's an unfair way to look at people's scholarly career. Some people are excited to have a job as an engineer because they love the subject matter, while others are in it for the income. There are people who get degrees in Religious Studies because it's interesting or while other's because it's "easy." No matter what someone studies or for whatever reason, don't undermine someone else. Generalizing is unfair. However you perceive value in your education, that doesn't mean you can speak for others! Every major has value and a diversity in education cultivates different world views that help us all grow.
