#16180 As A liberal arts student, I would probably advise against people coming to Purdue for liberal arts. The teachers are great and the classes are fine, but it really sucks being treated like human garbage by people too narrow minded to see the value in anything that's not stem. The fact that a recent response to a previous post on this page saying that McDonalds is the "future professional aspiration" of liberal arts major gained at least 27 likes, proving that Purdue does in fact have a toxic and elitist student culture.

#16174 People keep talking about how being of the "marrying type" should make them more desirable. Marriage is a silly construct! Being willing to settle down is great, but it's not hinged on getting married. Many are using it as a sense of validation for their coupledom and personally it ticks me off.
Also what's the alternative to not being the "marrying type"?
Does it mean that you're going to cheat on you significant other? Because that doesn't make you the non-"marrying type" it makes you a douchebag.
