#30271 To the cute chemE junior standing behind me in line at the career fair: I don't know why I felt the need to tell you my dream job, but thanks for the support.

#30270 I'm sorry if you sleep around, yes you are more undesirable as a S/O, future spouse. Applies to both men and women. It means you don't find meaning in intimacy and are less likely to stay committed

#30261 Most girls on tinder are garbage. Sorry but, if we match, I'm expecting some sort of response. Unmatch me if you think I'm not worth your time. Don't ghost me. It's fuckin tinder. You're supposed to make small talk with people you match with, with some sort of intent. Second, if you act like you wanna hook up, don't instantly unmatch when thats what the guy thinks. Just say no. Is a clear answer too much to ask?

#30269 Career fairs are great and all, but students and recruiters have way different expectations. Students go to career fairs with the expectation that they will get a job. Recruiters go to career fairs mostly to advertise. Then students complain that all they do is tell you to apply online when they don't get a job. That's because recruiters are there to advertise the company to top talent, not hire people. I've had two internships and my manager has always been the one to make the decision to hire me, not the recruiter. It is true that people get jobs from career fairs and recruiters, but most of those jobs are generic. You can definitely do better online. Don't get me wrong, career fairs are still valuable, especially for learning how to interact with professionals. The point is don't go to a career fair expecting to get a job and when they say to apply online, actually do it.
P.S. Stop wearing suits to career fairs. Save your best for last.

#30265 To
#30246. I get it I sometimes have the same feeling. While my knowledge is also limited...by the inconclusiveness of what we already know and by me lacking the knowledge that’s actually been published already.
Germany was treated unfair by the end of of WWI they were single sided, and they were asked to pay war reparations as if they made everyone else participate in the war. Just so everyone knows there are countries that DID NOT participate.
After that, Germany was essentially divided and crippled to its lowest forms (remember they started printing cash and devaluing their currency just to get through the short term?) yeah. Look how well they are doing now. I don’t know about everyone else but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were 2 or 3 other hitlers for the way their country wAs treated. (Perhaps “being looked down upon” refers to Germany and not Hitler personally. OP you have to get better at communicating. Lol. Idk man..there’ll be people who just wouldn’t understand because they believe one side of the war participants is right.
The reason for WWI was because some asshole killed another asshole of a prince in a different country. The world is weird.

#30267 Okay. So this is really fucked up. I am an international student and I just saw a bunch of youtube videos/ documentaries of missing people in USA. It seems to so many college students just go missing, disappearing in the thin air. The 2004 case of Maura Murray or the 2006 OSU case of Brian Shaffer. It is scary to learn about these cases. Is it a common concept in this part of the world, to just disappear without trace?
