#16613 This was when I was in my first semester in Purdue. Being away from my home country for the first time was very hard for me, and I tend to be quiet in class. I was sitting quietly doing my own business before recitation, when the American guy behind me started fooling around trying to impress the girls. I dropped my pen and as I was looking back trying to catch it, our eyes met and he said "What's with her? I'd be a little more excited if I were in a foreign country". It hurts even more that the other students laughed along with him. I still remember it to this day..
