But once those beliefs, or your actions in compliance with those beliefs, start to affect the lives of others against their will and/or in a negative way, there's a problem. I'm not at all religious, so it's easy for me to live and let live, but I understand that some people have very strong beliefs that forbid them in taking part in certain actions and I don't see a situation in which everyone wins, unfortunately. I hate seeing people post/share posts about their opinions whether it be about same-sex marriage, government, gun control, etc. because it always spurs debate and no one ever comes out on top. #17080 I have an asian girlfriend who hates cigarettes. Iam a busy grad student who smokes on and off for focus .I know its a bad habbit and I might be able to kick it sometime when i have some time to go through the entire process of withdrawal, but I dont just have that time now .
She detests when i smell like that , and kind of repels me.Is it bad to expect her to be ok with it . I never lied to her about my smoking . And isnt it kind of selfish of her to expect I should go by her "Rules".I dont wanna have this extra mental burden to have mint , and affect my work cuz shes around ( not having nicotine at the right time does affect my work sometimes)
