#17347 Sometimes I wonder how many people actually know enough about Christianity to actually make a sound judgement about it as a religion (or any religion for that matter). I'm not about to argue that Christians are perfect, many times in history and today Christians do a pretty awful job at being Christians. I just see a lot of people pulling out Old Testament arguments (both Christian and not) without understanding that the Old Testament was actually Ancient Judaism.

The New Testament has only two laws: 1)Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, and strength, and 2) love your neighbor as yourself. All other laws and conduct of Christians are to hang on these two ideals because when it is done properly you can speak truth without hate, and love people without accepting what Christians are told is sinful.

I dunno. My goal is that everyone know that Christianity is not about fear-mongering and hate, although that's how many people have sought to use Christianity to control people. I want people to know what my faith is about based on what I say and do, as well as showing a clear understanding of the Bible.
