#17714 Can women vote? Drive a car? Make the same wages as a man?
Then why the FUCK is it so wrong for a man to cry? REAL MEN CRY. Period. They don't care about what people think is okay for them to do or not do.

#17710 I understand why people wouldn't want to get an abortion, it's tolling on the body mentally and physically, it something that you'd have to live with your entire life and a baby is literally a part of you. However, I don't get why people want to outlaw abortions, to have the government tell a female what she can and cannot do with her body. Besides, even if it was illegal, people could find ways to have them done if they really wanted. Why not just have it legal and allow it to be done in a safe environment by a professional, instead of having your head shoved up your butt because the idea makes you uncomfortable or goes against your beliefs. You don't have to get one if that's how you feel. Pro-choice is not team baby killer.

#17708 I really cannot stand people who circumcise their babies. Of course, it's none of my business, but the level of cowardice that today's politicians and medical professionals express as they argue in favor of an unnecessary and potentially dangerous religious practice just so a group of people aren't offended even in the "progressive" west strongly pinches me. Demonizing those who have already been circumcised and their parents is not my primary intention. But when it comes to basic human right to have a choice and to see religious freedom prevail does bother me. Besides, of what value is the "religious freedom" when we deny it to our society's most helpless members?

#17707 Here's how it is: no one wants an abortion. It is an unfortunate situation when people are unprepared to have a child and become pregnant. Abortion stands as the law of the land because women should have the right to choose where their lives go. It's not easy to terminate a pregnancy and it is unfortunate that these fetuses will not be born. But eliminating abortion resources like planned parenthood is not the answer. The answer is an increased and in depth sex education and easy access to condoms and contraception in both public and private schools. Because high school kids will always have sex, it is a natural human process that in a lot of ways is beautiful. It should be taught about, not stigmatized and discouraged. We need sex ed, not "a promise to keep". We need educated young adults, not kids who feel guilty for doing what is natural to them. And until we have those things, abortion is a necessary resource, otherwise the cycle of uneducated and scared young adults continues.
