I have an idea as to who you are, because we may be co-workers and even though none of this has been mentioned, I picked up on this just from what I see going on around me. I gotta say, everyone gets stupid feelings, but our actions are ultimately what matter. And yes, thoughts we actively have (fantasies) count as actions.
But those dumb feelings have to get ignored or they'll breed more dumb feelings, like jealousy.
A married guy once told me "love is an action, not a feeling". It's what defines marriage holding together, not really the Hollywood/pop culture version of "love" most people believe in nowadays.
