#18917 Bicyclists of Purdue: GET OFF THE FUCKING SIDEWALK! Unless there is a designated bike lane, get in the street and quit whipping past pedestrians. When you're in the bike lane, STOP AT THE FUCKING MARKED STOP LINE! No one wants to get mowed down just because you can't be bothered to watch for pedestrian crossing. And when you're in the street, OBEY THE FUCKING TRAFFIC LAWS. Stop at stop signs, use the hand signals, and don't weave between cars to angle for a better spot while we all wait for the light to turn green.
Pedestrians of Purdue: STAY THE FUCK OUT OF THE BIKE LANES! You whined about being run down by bikes, now they have their own lanes to travel between streets.
Confession: I have no problem sharing the road and making sure I don't edge too close to bicyclists to a point, but I hate it when they nearly knock me down when I'm on foot. Shit like that makes me want to give bicyclists a little tap while in traffic so they know how it feels.

#18916 I haven't spent much time with my pet hamster today I feel guilty. His name is X short for xhamster. X never let's me down. Straight up the coolest hamster I've ever spent 2 hours at a time with, 6 days a week.

#18915 I don't own a bike on campus and I don't think I will ever want to own one while I'm here. Does anyone else feel extremely disappointed when they see bikes on trees or hear people proudly bragging about how they threw a bike in a tree? It honestly makes me a little mad when people think it's okay to do that to others. So what if a bike is unlocked? Someone once told me that "a person who doesn't lock their bike deserves to have it stolen or thrown in a tree". If stores didn't have anti-shoplifting sensors, does that make it okay to steal things? No. For once, I just want to have confidence and believe in the kindness and decency in others. But this whole bike-in-trees situation sets me back from doing so. I don't understand why people think it is okay to do it because you probably wouldn't want your bike up in a tree either. Why do you have to go out of your way to put someone else in a bad situation?

#18914 I think it's cruel for people to wish that others are single on this page or on the secret admirers page. Does anyone who make those posts actually talk to the people that they post about? Are the other people just supposed to be perpetually single so that you can always have the chance to never say anything to them?

#18913 Please don't try to convince me of how smart you are or how much you deserved a job at companies who rejected you by telling me you shouldn't have been rejected due to these random external factors.

1. You don't convince me at all.
2. You typically get one chance when you interview with a company. Make the most of it. If you fail, take it as an opportunity to accept rejection and to learn from your mistakes, not to bitch about it.
3. Telling me stories of your unfair interview process doesn't tell me at all if you're qualified for any job. If you want to convince me, tell me of the things you're passionate about and what you've done. Then I'll decide if I want to even consider introducing you to any of my connections.
4. It's all about connections, not how you could theoretically pass interviews if all the right factors were in place.
5. Get over yourself.

#18912 At least in college of grown ass kids one would think there are no maniacs to shut down speakers with controversial opinions. But no, before everything and above all opinions come the thought police and feelings brigade essentially asking for preschool treatment to be coddled and "protected" from different points of view because they are too sensitive to hear what people like CH Sommers have to say. And like the shitheads they cry and moan "I am offended" not only on their college hugboxes, but in all public spaces. The fuck you mean you are triggered?
