#19625 I'm a senior reaching the end of academia... I have absolutely nothing to look forward to. There's nothing I can think of that makes me excited about post-college. No goals. No wonderful lady to live for. Odds of finding a good lady friend after college is gonna drop dramatically.

Sure there's video games, but I don't want that to be the only thing in my life. Sure I do love my career and am really good at it, but I don't want that to be the only thing in my life either.

Today's society is weird. It's so linear for the first 20ish years of your life. The only goal: get to college and graduate. After that it's just no direction. I appreciate the freedom that I will have, but I don't even know where to start. I guess I'll make a bucket list...

But most of all, I don't wanna do it all alone. Not only because I'm lonely, but because I want the things I do to mean something beyond myself. I want to share my life with someone to give my life meaning I guess. A girlfriend isn't the right word that that person; I want a life companion. The difference is that that person will know everything about me down to my very soul. Unfortunately that life companion has to be female though, because biology does that lol. I may never find that person, but if I do, my life will literally be meaningless without her. Or should I say, my life currently is meaningless until I meet her.

Unfortunately I'm a non-partying introverted CS major that cares about his grades, so.... I probably won't find that lady friend anytime soon. Not to mention dating sites/apps rub me the wrong way, not sure why. Too artificial maybe. I like doing things naturally.

Also thanks Purdue Confessions for existing. I like being able to share my deepest thoughts here anonymously. Although I partly wish people knew who I was.
