#20234 I've been single for a little over 6 months now after a relationship of a year and a half ended, with her moving and deleting me off Facebook, no text, no call, nothing but the unfriending, she is Christina. While I was with her I had an engineering class in which there was this amazing girl, Jesse, who I just ran into 3 weeks ago, we hung out, had fun, dated and kissed... Turns out she has a bf, and Christina just decided to start talking to me again, like the same day I hear about the bf... I forgave her for what she did after she apologized, but I'm not getting back together with her, I care about Jesse, but I'm a firm believer in cheaters will always cheat. I haven't really spoken to her since, so there could be a legitimate reason, however there's always the lie she didn't tell me about him, and I'm more of a thrusting person... I'm not really confused, but I was wondering if anyone could shine light on this, possibly an old relationship that ended like this, or anyone having any opposing views would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I become interested in a person and they're interested in me, I learn that they're trying to get over an ex they broke up with a few weeks ago, or are in love with some close female friend that doesn't have the same feelings for them. I always feel like a second option, and it's really killing me inside. I just want to know what it's like to be at the forefront of someone's mind. I'm completely over my ex and have been single for months, why should I give my all to someone who is dreaming of someone else? Maybe I should just stay single. I'm disappointed every time, and my soul can only handle so much.
