#21512 I don't care what people think about Christmas, refund day is the most wonderful time of the year.

Confession:
I emphathize with the post below about being lonely. I too, stand to gain a great degree of success in life and want to have someone to share it with. I'm just waiting for the right person to pursue.

#21511 I always sit on the edge of my seat when I play piano to leave some room for you.

#21510 I stay with my partner because I don't want to go through the bullshit hassle of meeting someone new, getting to know them, trusting them, and establishing a lasting relationship. Plus, it's a bitch to disentangle your life from someone else just for the sake of starting over.

#21509 This will be my last semester at Purdue, and I've made a couple of good friends, met a lot of great people, but I still haven't been on a date in my life. I guess it's fine because I had an ok time and got an ok job. It's just that people tell me that it's harder to find a significant other past college. I even tried doing that thing where you go outside more and talk to lots of people, but it feels like everyone's taken. Guess I didn't try hard enough. idk i guess i'm dying alone

#21508 I am genuinely concerned about our state of politics right now. All over social media I see nothing but how stupid trump is, yet nothing about how evil Hillary is, do these fuckers really want Hillary to win?

#21507 I've been in US for a year now and I feel that the society here is too "alcohol-friendly". Now, I understand that it's an aspect of American culture but I think that consumption of alcohol is promoted on much broader scale than it is asked to be avoided. I know so many people who think that partying means getting drunk and laid, but for someone who's never really been a fan of drinking, I have just as much fun without it. I strongly disagree with the notion that "if you can't remember anything from last night, you probably had too much fun".

I'm not here to make any choices for anyone neither am I here to appeal to everyone to stop drinking, I just wish that we had some incentives to discourage alcohol consumption, for example an alternative to the breakfast club. I'm well aware that not many people share this viewpoint but I just wish that people understood the importance of making wise choices. The choices we make now, we live with for the rest of our lives, and even if they seem "fun" now, I hope they don't come back to haunt your future self.

All of that being said, I am very sorry if I have offended anyone, just wanted to share my views here.

#21505 everyone has always thought of me as brilliant and pretty and athletic and wonderful. everyone thinks i am going to succeed brilliantly, and i know i can. but i'm hurting so hard inside. no matter how wonderful i am on paper, i've always been abandoned and emotionally abused by the guys i've had relationships with. all i really want is to find someone to marry who will love me and make me stop feeling like i'll die miserable and alone. screw the success.
