#21574 I traveled through the state of Michigan today with a buddy and we both had to make an emergency pit stop while visiting the MSU campus. Totally pooped in their student union building. Oddly enough, we missed our exit to take I-69 south to Indiana and wound up near Ann Arbor and turned around there. But we had to make yet another emergency pit stop so we decided that the closest place to the highway was obviously the U of M so we defecated there too.

Confession: We really did derp and miss our main exit but there was never any real emergency, but we did have nasty Taco Bell for dinner last night so we had help. Boiler up! Hammer down?

#21572 I was sort of excited to go back to school until I realized how socially awkward I am. When I'm at school I get self-conscious a lot. I think other people are staring and judging me. In classes where I have to participate in a discussions, I get nervous, mess up, and end up either mumbling, jumbling my words together, or stuttering. It also doesn't help when my mind is like, "You're going to mess up, you're going to mess up." I also say things when I don't have my ideas form well yet. I over analyze conversations I have with my classmates, TAs, and professors. I'll think back to what I said or how I act and cringe on it. Then I think about all of the things I should have said instead. When I am having a conversation outside of class, I get conscious about what I'm saying, because I feel like other people are listening. Sometimes even on a good day, I still cringe on what I said or did. When I am walking to class I get so worried that I'll crash into someone on their bike or skateboard. I also don't know what to do with my eyes. I don't want to look at other people, because I don't want to make weird eye contact. I'm getting slightly anxious thinking about all of this. Why is everyone so socially competent? HELP? ADVICE? TIPS?

#21571 This is going to be my last semester at Purdue, and I'm nervous, but not about the schoolwork. I don't have a job lined up, but more importantly, I've still never had a girlfriend, and I fear that I'll never have the chance to find someone once I leave here.
