#21939 I am scare about the ignorance of people these days regarding some hot topics. People base their beliefs on what they think when they have no experience on the matter. Then they blindly follow figures that know just as much if not less than they do. Fear should not drive your opinion.

People want tighter gun laws but the democratic leaders pushing it (i am looking at you Mr. Pres and you too Bernie) believe and have said the following things:
1. People can drive from Chicago and buy a gun in indiana thus bringing guns into Chicago
2. You can buy guns at gun shows without a background check
3. you can easily buy an automatic weapon
4. Assault rifles are more dangerous than pistols because you have to manually pull the trigger each time with a pistol but not an assault rifle.

These are all false. It is illegal for someone in Indiana to sell a gun to someone from Illinois and vis-versus. A background check is required no matter what. There is no loop hole like they like to say. It's near impossible to obtain the class 3 license to purchase an automatic license. Well first they obviously don't know what an assault rifle is which does not exclusively include automatic weapons but is mostly semi-automatic weapons(1 boom boom per trigger pull). Alot of gun owners dont disagree with tighter laws regarding background checks. what scares then is the fight they have to put up against the ignorant opposition. People don't listen to these politicians before you do your own research. they are often wrong about guns. blatantly wrong for that matter.
