#22159 I don't get people complaining about the lack of diversity or lack of minorities here at Purdue. We have plenty of Asian and Indian people here, and plenty of international students. The reason not many people celebrate black history month is because there aren't many black people here. I'm wondering why we don't celebrate chinese new year more, as it would be a better representation of our student body. As an Asian here on campus, I'm getting tried of people whining about micro aggressions. I don't have time to give a shit, I just want to do my homework. Also if we have affirmative action in academics want affirmative action in college basketball, the NBA, and rap. We went from protesting legitimate issues like housing discrimination, lynchings, and segregation to complaining about being asked if you are a football player or someone said something racist.
