#22190 My boyfriend better surprise me with a giant teddy bear, dozen roses, box of chocolates and reservations to a fancy restaurant or he knows what's coming. I'm just saying.

#22189 I want to thank the gentleman who possibly paid it forward or what not tonight, you came into my job before close with your buddy and left a tip when you didn't have to. Won't lie the cash is nice but the gesture meant more to my morale today than you'll ever know thank you.
Confession is, idk if I'm weird, but when i dress i always go left side first when in comes to underwear and socks

#22188 CAPS has a few weeks long waiting list right now-- for anyone who didn't know. They told me I could benefit from clinic treatment for depression, anxiety, food issues and something else i don't remember.
I have health insurance and could go to a clinic in Lafayette. But part of me thinks I'm not really that bad and I don't need help and that I should learn to deal with depression, anxiety, and body dysmorphia (yes fat girls can have it too). Part of me wants to try meds but I feel strange admitting I want them.
My biggest problem is I never feel deserving of anything better.

#22187 I could definitely see the people coming down on Cam Newton being a race thing. At the same time, there were a few ways where he acted extremely unprofessionally as a professional athlete in a short amount of time that, personally think, I would be irked about . Like seriously, I'd be pissed if I was a Panthers fan and I got to see that replay of Cam actively deciding not to dive on the fumbled ball. But I still respect him and that he had a great season. It's just being way blown out of proportion.

#22186 I often feel that I'm looked down upon by the Asian community because I chose to join a social fraternity instead of a multi-cultural one. I have many friends that are part of the large Asian organizations on campus, and I want to hang out with them, but anytime I show up, I feel like an outsider. Some of the guys have been real assholes to me. I think that they feel that I left behind my background and culture when I chose to join a fraternity that is predominantly white, even though that's far from the case. Oh well, I love the guys in my house, they accept me for who I am, my beliefs, and if those people don't think I'm "Asian enough" to hang out with them, that's their loss. Thank you to those that are my friends and don't think of me different. Just needed to get this off my chest. Thank you, people of Purdue Confessions.

#22183 Women's logic:
We want equality, same jobs, for the same payment. We should be able to do anything and everything men can! Until that's achieved we aren't equal!
When asked if they would register for the draft: Hell no, why should we have to do that? Men are the ones who fight.
Makes sense.
