#30833 America's law system is completely and utterly fucking garbage. Many Silicon Valley companies are getting in trouble for not being diverse. Large companies are required to have a certain level of diversity, regardless of if their applicant field is diverse. Which is extremely stupid and where diversity for the sake of diversity in a workplace fails. We know women in STEM was an issue and we've tried to address the problem. Probably not enough but those changes take 20 years to produce new graduates. If you expect equal numbers of men and women in Silicon Valley today you are on drugs. What we should see is a steady growth upward in the number of women. Anything else is how you get Susan Mauldin on your payroll.
