I am an Asian. And every grad student from my country has parents paying their tuition. We will return the money after we start earning of course.

Sons live with their old parents even when they become independent in my country. American kids however live separately and hardly in contact.

I may be reading the situation/culture wrong.Correct me if so.

#22975 They say you have to love others before you can love yourself. While I don't think this is completely true, I have found that by giving unconditional acceptance and changing my viewpoints toward people, I have become much more gentle and forgiving to myself. Not only is it making me a better person, but it's helping me realize that I was not such a bad person to begin with - just very misunderstood by myself.
