Bearing arms is a right, not a privilege, for a reason. You're bringing gun laws to a gun fight as if criminals care about these damn rules. Your best bet is to literally even the playing field. You notice gun violence is higher in cities like chicago because it has some of the strictest gun laws in the country and go around collecting guns from law abiding citizens. Stop disarming the responsible people, you're leaving them vulnerable...You do also realize the second amendment is to mainly protect us from tyrannical government right? Governments spends billions on military. Don't you think for one second that American politicians are above hitler type fascism. Your government is not required to protect you. Those guns are to protect themselves when they show up after the violence. You need the same protection. Get safe
Confession: It bothers me that we have given government so much control over individuals. People treat it like its daddy. All the way down to your love life. Who you can marry is up for discussion by people that have absolutely nothing to do with it. You should be upset
