I confess that when you come out to a chick they start telling you about their periods...

If you apply logic the gay guy probably wants less to do with that then even the straight guy. So ladies stop it, stop it right now.

I confess I'm concerned that this sight was sued or something since all 2014 confessions are not showing up on the Facebook page.

it's obvious we all want ORU to chage for the better. if we want ORU to be a more open place for ALL kinds of people, then we all need to pick up the slack and work for it, instead of just complaining and pointing fingers. we say we want to be treated like college-age student, but there's a slew of us, myself included, that have been whining.

I confess the sexy actor working at hava java would drive me crazy every time I'd order coffee from him. It got tot he point whenever I'd pass him, I'd just sigh and think "damn sexy baristas"

In the last week I have had a nightmere every night centered around going back to ORU. One major theme is that I may have to move to EMR because they are closing so much of towers. I love EMR guys but living on the floor might kill me.

There was a business major named Jimena A. She was from jersey. I wish I could reconnect with her.

I left ORU after the Fall 2013 semester. Honestly, it was one of the best decisions I could have made. Since the beginning of my sophomore year, I had been fighting the feeling that I needed to leave ORU because I didn't want to leave my friends / the fantastic community that ORU has to offer. However, the amount that I was paying to attend the university was not worth the education I was receiving. Since leaving ORU, I've been taking community college courses (because a total of 9 credit hours out of my 74+ hours transferred, I'm back to the pre-requisite life.) and I've had professors that blow almost all of my old ORU professors out of the water.

ORU has some great aspects. However, if the only reason you're staying is because of your friends, don't be afraid to let go. There's a life outside of the ORU bubble and it's actually pretty great. Sure, I don't get to see my friends on a regular basis, but it's still easy to keep in touch with them through phone calls and social media.

If you're trying to decide whether to stay or whether to leave, do a few things. First, you should pray (and actually listen). I had "prayed" about it, but even when I had a clear answer, I kept "praying" in hopes to get a different answer. I was a bit of an ass about it. Oops.

Secondly, look at the amount of hours that will actually transfer and see how much time / money it will realistically take to graduate. Even though only 9 of my hours transferred and I will have to stay in school a hell of a lot longer, I'm still paying WAY less than what I would have paid to stay at ORU for the rest of my schooling.

Lastly, make a decision and don't sit on it. I waited until the school pretty much broke me before I transferred. I was afraid to leave and move 1000+ miles away, but it's not the end of the world. In fact, I'm in a much better place mentally / physically / spiritually since moving away from ORU.

ORU is not an inherently bad place, but it's not right for everyone. Just because it's not right for you doesn't mean that you're any less of a person and don't let ANYONE make you think that.

Much love.
